The King Charles Era

The King Charles Era
New sound, new style, still the same loser.

King Charles Hamilton! King Charles the Hamilton!

Clarity of moments

There's been word about it, both from me and other eyewitnesses, but I'm a bit self-conscious about music made between 2012-2014. There was a lot of venom spewed, in EVERYTHING ABOUT THE MUSIC. From the mix, to the MIC CHOICE, to BEAT/SAMPLE CHOICE, ...rhyme schemes, choice of particular words... it was all ugly. And aimed "at a few minds".

Music was my weapon. I didn't have a gun, neighborhood stores wouldn't sell me sharp objects... all I had was my talent and the mic. So if anything, be proud of the strength I showed. Also, be happy that I DIDN'T commit the crime I was going to, because I would've removed myself from reality permanently.

You'll be happy to know that any and all beef I had in Harlem (to my knowledge) is dead. Meaning, it's all peace in my neck of the woods. I even deaded my beef with Demevolist. I just harbor the responsibility of what might've gone wrong and prepare my future that way.

I don't want to send subliminal jabs at anyone anymore. Takes up too much creative energy. Alas, I don't have the mental patience to write anymore. In fact, I do and say so much with my blog that it's a wonder why people just don't reference it as a CH written... lol I guess I got y'all spoiled.

So yeah. No more venom. And I do and will blush at my ears' first sight of my 2012-14 music.
