JimmyIQ

So I was on the phone with *drKiwi*, and I was asked "What did I mean by 'Jimmy Iovine is the closest thing we got to God? Is it money, or is he on some OD shit?" I simply, and with all the breath in my body, said "Both."

I went on to say, "Jimmy Iovine is the key to knowing that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. ...I think I finally said it." There it is. JiO is the missing link.

Now. Is he a notorious hot head? Hell yes. EMPHASIS ON HELL. DO NOT FUCK THAT MAN OVER. A fair warning to those hoping to capitalize on him being more of a tastemaker these days than an actual investor in the music. Hell hath no fury like that of a Jimmy fucked.

And he's so Harlem, I don't have to say pause.

If you know, you know.

Now, even though *drKiwi* gave me my first shot at a mainstream career, it was #Master2 who gave me my first dosage of the AltUnderground of DillaDOOMMadlib9th. Even though *drKiwi* first introduced me to 9th through "God's Stepson", 9th's legendary remix of Nas' "God's Son". #Master2 is pretty much who inspired my #creativetitle era. "The Cookout" does exist, but titles that give context to the content WITHOUT being a part of the lyrics (or a vague portion of said lyrics) is DEFINITELY the craftmanship of #Master2. Because I admired his contextual instrumentals, I knew I had to find a way enhance what I already did. So I started sampling songs at strange loop points. Check out "Re-Anna" and "November 10th". Both loop heavy, both looped at strange portions of the song.

Thank you, #Master2.

*drKiwi* forever.
